the Western Outdoor News, August
28, 2009 edition, anglers who are wondering whether
2009 will offer
the first
good tuna action for some years need
no longer doubt as tuna trips on party boats
broke the century mark.
The KAHUNA hosted two productive trips, with
Thursday's effort finding stellar action that
resulted in 136 fish boated.
"The best part was that the ocean was flat and
calm, the weather beautiful," said Harvey Bien at
KAHUNA SPORTFISHING. "People were fishing
in t-shirts!" The action was best from mid-morning
until noon. On one bait stop, the 12 anglers aboard
put over 60 fish on the boat.
